How do you use WINDSCREEN WASHER FLUID?

Do you want to top up your window washer fluid yourself?

* Unlock the hood. If you don't know where the lever is, look it up in the car's instruction manual. Then immediately check where the windshield washer fluid reservoir is located.

* Open the cap of the windshield washer fluid reservoir. You can often recognize that reservoir by a picture of a window with streams of water. Pay close attention: the coolant reservoir looks similar. The only difference is that the coolant has a tube that leads to the radiator and the windshield washer fluid reservoir has a tube to the windows. If in doubt, look this up in the car's instruction manual.

* Fill the reservoir with window washer fluid until it is full. Close the reservoir cap and spray and turn on the windshield wipers.

This is a harmless preparation. Normally no risks are to be expected, minor discomfort may occur.
